[origin: EP0755787A2] The washing device has a number of washing spray beams (1) coupled to a central processor (19) via respective communication modules (18), coupled to a single communication channel (20) for signal communication with actuators and sensors within each washing spray beam. Pref. the communication channel is provided by a field bus with the communication modules provided by field bus nodes of a field bus system using a given protocol.
