The reinforcement element has reinforcement ribbing on a round steel sleeve (3) formed by indents (4) and/or protrusions which are each bell-shaped in cross-section with their marginal areas (5) running smoothly into the sleeve. The protrusions and/or indents can be pearl-shaped. The height of the protrusion or depth of the indent is maximum 50% of the radius of the round steel core (2).

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Rundstahlelement zur Betonarmierung mit einer auf dem Rundstahlmantel (3) vorgesehenen Verankerungsverrippung. Um gegenüber bekannten Rundstahlelementen eine erhöhte Verbundsteifigkeit mit dem Beton erreichen zu können, ist die Verankerungsverrippung durch Vertiefungen (4) und/oder Erhebungen (6) gebildet, die jeweils im Querschnitt glockenförmig ausgebildet sind und deren Randbereiche (5,7) in den Rundstahlmantel (3) weich einlaufen. <IMAGE>
