[origin: EP0756064A1] The roller shutter is wound on a reel held between support arms (5) fitted to the wall by mounting plates (6). The mounting plates have additional fittings to secure spring holders each side of the shutter. Each spring holder has a shaped spring with one arm (19) interacting with a roller (20) fitted to the last shutter element. The reel is held in the optimum position, to feed the shutter elements into the side guides (1) by having the support arms angled at 46 deg. from the wall. The reel is clamped to the support arms by U-brackets. The spring catches have spiral sections and with clamping ends shaped to lock into the supports.
