[origin: EP0756880A2] A breathing apparatus is described including a source of breathable gas (1), a carrying unit (2,3) for carrying the source of breathable gas (1), a safety belt (8), and a releasable coupling (7,14) for coupling the carrying unit to the safety belt (8).
