Abstract (en)
The heat treatment of a track element which is heated over its entire length and then cooled in a coolant bath in such a way that, if necessary, the element is dipped - with its head portion leading - partially and with interruptions into the bath. According to a predetermined time sequence, the element is alternatingly dipped completely and partially into the coolant bath.

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zur Wärme- bzw. Vergütebehandlung eines Gleisteils, insbesondere Weichenteils wie Federzunge oder Herzstück, wobei das Gleisteil über seine gesamte Länge aufgeheizt und anschließend in einem Kühlmittelbad derart gekühlt wird, daß das Gleisteil gegebenenfalls partiell und unterbrochen und von seinem Kopf her in das Kühlmittelbad getaucht wird. Um in dem Gleisteil ein gewünschtes Gefüge reproduzierbar einstellen zu können, wird vorgeschlagen, daß das Gleisteil während des Kühlens in vorgegebener zeitlicher Abfolge nacheinander einerseits bereichsweise und andererseits vollständig in das Kühlmittelbad getaucht wird.
