[origin: EP0757132A1] The bridge consists of two parallel span sections with upper rolling surfaces, connected by arms (3c) in a general omega-shape with coaxial base members in the form of shafts (16). The shafts are connected to the bridge sections by ball joints (17), and they are also able to rotate and slide in bearings (24). Each of the arms (16) is additionally equipped with mechanism in the form of two identical and parallel cams (27) which return the arm automatically to its normal operating position in a plane perpendicular to the linked span sections.
