Abstract (en)
The connector comprises a loop former with a fixed and movable pincer arm (1,2) mounted on a sleeve (5). One arm (1) is horizontally movable through a slide bearing (4) and in the area of this bearing on the inside of the sleeve is a guide block (12) with a guide groove (3c) which seamlessly adjoins a guide groove (3a) in the pincer arm. A separating device (10) with circular cutter (M) is mounted on the fixed pincer arm (2). A tong (7) is set in a cylinder (6) longitudinally movable in the sleeve and a sensor set above the cylinder is connected to the separator. An opening (8) in the pincer arm and sleeve form a connection with the wire supply (11) which comprises two calibrated rollers (15) set inclined behind each other and driven in the same rotary direction. All the parts including a wire magazine (14) are mounted in a housing.
