Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0757151A2] The profiled seal has a profiled foot with upper and lower arms of which the upper arm (23) supports a detent foot (3) which projects into the inner space (41) of the sealing bellows (4). A restriction (25) reducing the cross section is formed in the base of the profiled foot above the connection with the upper arm. The upper arm can have at its free end (231) opposite the base a restriction (26) at the connection with the sealing bellows. If damaged the sealing bellows can be separated through the restrictions and a replacement profile (5) can be clamped by a groove onto the exposed detent foot.
