Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0757180A1] The method involves determining a control parameter from measurements of the compressor throughflow and compressor pressure and from desired values. The control parameter is used for immediate opening of a release valve (2) by a pneumatic or hydraulic actuator. Electronic limiting of the rate of closure of the release valve is performed by an asymmetric gradient limiter (50). No time delay is effective in the release valve's opening direction. A time limitation in the closure direction which can be freely parameterised is provided or can be programmed in.
