[origin: EP0757216A2] The device has a housing with at least one inner chamber and an outer and an inner casing with thermally insulating material between them. An access aperture is closed by a door with a peripheral magnetic seal (13,14). The edge of the access aperture forms a contact surface and magnetic lock for the magnetic seal. The ferromagnetic aperture edge (27) forming the magnetic lock for the seal is in the form of edge sections joined together to form a continuous contact surface. The edge sections are arranged substantially at the same height wrt. each other.
