[origin: GB2289232A] A method of repairing a turbine blade in which a radially outer part of the blade is removed and replaced by a new part 18 comprising the steps of removing the outer part of the blade and securing a new part to the original blade using a weld material 19 having a high nickel content or including an intermediate part of a material having a high nickel content.
