Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0758041A1] The platform has an articulated outer guard (2) which can be fixed in the vertical position, and an openwork steel beam (3) beneath it which allows the load of the platform to be transmitted to the structure of the building. It can be made in lengths of up to 6 m without additional reinforcing members, and is collapsible to facilitate transport and storage. The openwork beam is fastened rigidly to vertical members of the building framework by brackets.
