The load hold valve has a closure component spring-loaded and activated in the opening direction by the load pressure of the hydraulic user and a control piston for the closure component activated with pressure against the spring loading. The closure component activation pressure is fed by a control pressure into the other work conduit. Before the commencement of the control of the load hold valve (H) the ratio between the load pressure (LD) and the control pressure (A) is adjusted proportionally to the load pressure in such a way that at high load pressure a high control pressure appertains, and at low load pressure a low control pressure.

Bei einem Verfahren zum Steuern eines an zwei Arbeitsleitungen (4, 5) angeschlossenen Hydroverbrauchers (Z), in dessen wenigstens einer Arbeitsleitung (5) ein hydraulisch aufsteuerbares Lasthalteventil (H) angeordnet ist, das ein federbelastetes und vom jeweiligen Lastdruck (LD) in Öffnungsrichtung beaufschlagtes Schließelement (7) und einen gegen die Federbelastung (6) beaufschlagbaren Aufsteuerkolben (9) aufweist, dessen Beaufschlagungsdruck (P9) vom Aufsteuerdruck (P10) in der anderen Arbeitsleitung (4) abgeleitet wird, wird bereits vor Beginn der Aufsteuerung des Lasthalteventils (H) das Verhältnis (LD):(AD) proportional zum Lastdruck (LD) eingestellt, derart, daß mit hohem Lastdruck ein hoher Aufsteuerdruck (AD) und mit niedrigem Lastdruck ein niederiger Aufsteuerdruck eingestellt wird. Bei einer Steuervorrichtung (S) für den Hydroverbraucher (Z) ist zwischen der anderen Arbeitsleitung (4) und dem Aufsteuerkolben (9) wenigstens eine Ablaßleitung (15) angeschlossen, sind als verstellbare Drosselanordnung (A) in der Steuerdruckleitung (11) und in der Ablaßleitung (15) ein Drosselelement (16, 16') und wenigstens eine Ablaßdrosselelement (17, 17', 17'') angeordnet und ist eine lastdruckabhängig betätigbare Verstelleinrichtung (C) für die Drosselanordnung (A) vorgesehen, mit der mit zunehmendem Lastdruck (LD) die Durchgangsgröße des Ablaßdrosseldurchgangs vergrößerbar oder/und die Durchgangsgröße des Drosseldurchgangs verkleinerbar ist. <IMAGE>
