[origin: EP0758550A1] A prod. for coating protheses comprising Ca carbonate and lime. Pref. the CaCO3 is at least partially in the form of calcite, esp. in an amt. of at most 75 wt. % of the prod., and at least partially in the form of aragonite, esp. in an amt. of at most 25 wt. % of the prod. The lime is in the form of anhydrous lime CaO and/or hydrated lime Ca(OH)2, present in an amt. of at most 60 wt. % of the prod., esp. where the lime is in the form of Ca(OH)2, present in an amt. of at most 25 wt. % of the prod.
