[origin: EP0758573A1] The tool(1) has a series of grinding bits(3) arranged around the outside edge and coaxial with the vertical rotational central axis of a grinding head(2). The bits have a mount(5) for the grinding piece(6) and are fixed to the head by horizontal or near horizontal fixings into radial holes in the edge face of the head The fixings allow the bits to be attached to or removed from the side face of the head by movement in a horizontal plane. The mounts butt up to bear against a stop face(8) on a cover ring(4).
