Abstract (en)

This invention offers activated immunoglobulin which is useful as eosinophilia-suppressing agent, immunomodulating agent, therapeutic agent for autoimmune diseases, antiinflammatory agent and antiallergic agent. The present invention further relates to a method of giving new pharmacological activity which is not inherently available in immunoglobulin of natural type to immunoglobulin; to activated immunoglobulin obtained by said method; and to a pharmaceutical composition containing said activated immunoglobulin as an effective component.
