[origin: EP0758678A2] Use of alkali citrate and/or alkali gluconate is claimed for removing calcareous soiling from safety clothing. Pref. the alkali citrate and alkali gluconate are used in a ratio of 10:1 to 1:10 and in the presence of greying inhibitors. Builders, anionic, nonionic surfactants and fatty acid soaps are also included.
