Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0758716A2] The pump has an hydraulic resistance element, located in a fluid path, which connects the pressure areas. The element has an infinite resistance as cold start plate (17), to separate the pressure areas of the pump sections. The pump has a radial rotor (7) with slots to accommodate vanes. A pressure plate (11) engages sealing on an endface of the rotor. It also has a fluid connection (51') between the pressure side of pump, and an undervane area (53). This is formed by a groove in the pressure plate.
