Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0758779A2] The top (3) of the resonance box (1) is in two parts, the first of which forms a seat-base (5) with room for a player. The second part forms a lid (6) with sound holes (2) onto which the string instrument is placed for increasing the sound volume. At least two sound holes are symmetrically arranged on each side of that part (4) of the lid on which the string instrument is placed. The resonance box can be dismantled compactly and consists of parts (5,6,7,7',8,9,9',10) hinged (11) together. On the front sides of the seat base and lid are bolts sliding along guides (25).
