[origin: DE19529970C1] The insulation system uses a strip-shaped insulator, wound around the outside of the coil conductor bundle via an automatic winding device. The coil width and /or the angle between the coil arms is widened out to match the min. size which can be handled by the automatic winding device, with the coil returned to the required configuration before assembly in the electrical machine. Pref. the widening out of the pre-formed coil and the subsequent returning to the original size is effected via the automatic winding device.

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zum Isolieren von Formspulen (1), bei denen mittels eines Automaten ein streifenförmiges Isoliermaterial (4) um die Leiterbündel (2) der Formspulen gewickelt wird. Ein vollständiges Aufbringen des Isoliermaterials durch einen Automaten unabhängig von der Größe des Spreizwinkels (α) der Formspulen wird dadurch ermöglicht, daß bei Formspulen, die durch den Einbau eine elektrische Maschine bedingt an ihren Stirnseiten einen Spreizwinkel von weniger als 90<°> aufweisen, dieser Spreizwinkel auf gleich/größer 90° vergrößert ist und die Formspulen nach dem Aufbringen des Isoliermaterials so verformt werden, daß sich die für den Einbau in eine elektrische Maschine erforderliche Größe des Spreizwinkels einstellt. <IMAGE>
