A slide rail (20) is height adjustable on a carrier (25) and engages on an unbent pipe section. An advance feed drive (35) moves the slide rail in a longitudinal direction, during the bending process, and a control device (22) governs the bending process. For the height adjustment of the slide rail a stagelessly positioned drive device (28) is provided, which adjusts the rail to a height predetermined by the control device. The control device can determine the height of the slide rail corresponding to a tool data input, or to an identification of the slide rail used. The drive device for the slide rail height adjustment may be a spindle drive (26) with continuous linear position assessment.

Die Rohrbiegemaschine weist eine Biegeschablone (15) auf, um die das Rohr herum gebogen wird. Zur Abstützung des ungebogenen Rohrabschnitts dient eine Gleitschiene (20), die an einem Gleitschienenträger (25) höhenverstellbar angebracht ist. Die Höheneinstellung der Gleitschiene (20) erfolgt über eine stufenlos positionierende Antriebseinrichtung (28), die die Gleitschiene auf eine von der CNC-Steuereinrichtung vorgegebene Höhe einstellt. Vor dem Biegen des Rohres bestimmt das Arbeitsprogramm, auf welche Höhe die Gleitschiene (20) gefahren wird, in Abhängigkeit von einem ihr eingegebenen Werkzeugdatensatz. <IMAGE>
