Verfahren zur Herstellung von Carbonsäuren aus Olefinen und Kohlenmonoxid in Gegenwart von Wasser und eines halogenfreien Katalysatorsystems bei Temperaturen von 30 bis 200°C und Drücken von 30 bis 200 bar, indem man als Katalysatorsystem eine Mischung aus Rhodium oder einer Rhodium-Verbindung und mindestens einer stickstoffhaltigen heterocyclischen Verbindung einsetzt.
