Abstract (en)
The connector has a cable holder with a recess (26) for holding an insulated part of an electrical cable (28). An electrical contact device carried by the holder moves the cable in the recess transversely wrt. the recess. The contact device has an end section (34) for displacing or penetrating the insulating cover (32) of the cable to produce an electrical contact with the cable during the transverse movement. The recess has cutting edge protrusions which facilitate the penetration of the insulation and make electrical contact on the side of the cable remote from the conducting contact part. The protrusions are made in one piece with the holder and the contact device is electrically connected to the holder.

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen elekrischen Verbinder (2) zum Herstellen einer elektrischen Verbindung mit einem elektrischen Leiter (4). Um die zeitaufwendige Arbeit zum Abisolieren der Isolierschicht zu vermeiden, besteht der Verbinder (2) aus einem Verbinder-Körper (10) mit einem zylindrichen Loch (12) zur Aufname der Isolierrschicht (8) des elektrischen Leiters (4). Ferner ist ein, im Verbinder-Körper (10) getragene Kontaktschraube (14) vorgesehen, die ein Endteil (34) zum Verschieben oder Durchbohren der Isolierschicht (8) des isolierten Leiters (4) aufweist. <IMAGE>
