Abstract (en)
The print carrier (82,83) has a cylinder (2) fitted with puncture needles (23) that impale trimmed strips (84,86). The strips are pushed completely off the needles and into a waste disposal unit. Preferably the strips are removed by radial fingers (6) fitted on a rotating shaft (4). The ends (9) of the fingers pass through cavities into the cylinder without coming into contact with the needles.

Bei einem Verfahren zum Entfernen von auf Punkturnadeln (24) befindlichen Beschnittstreifen (84,86) sollen diese von einem mit hoher Drehzahl rotierenden Zylinder (2), insbesondere einem Messerzylinder einer Scherenschnitteinrichtung einer Entsorgungseinrichtung (80) zugeführt werden. Erfindungsgemäß geschieht dies dadurch, daß die aufgenadelten Beschnittstreifen (84,86) mittels von außen auf sie einwirkender Mittel (6) gänzlich von den Punkturnadeln (24) heruntergeschoben und einer Entsorgungseinrichtung (80) zugeführt werden. Dazu ist weiterhin eine Vorrichtung vorgesehen. <IMAGE>
