[origin: EP0760539A2] The terminal block has a current rail (4) extending below a dual channel socket for a transverse connectors (3) for coupling the lead terminals (5) together. The current rail has a threaded bore (9) for receiving a screw of a transverse connector with a screw terminal and adjacent openings (8) on either side of the bore for receiving flat connector pins (6) of a different transverse connector type, to allow either type of transverse connector to be accommodated.
