The locomotive has a wagon box or frame (12) to receive a drive motor (14) and a transmission. There are components for cooling various fluids including cooling water, transmission fluid and air conditioning plant fluid. These include at least a cooler (32), pump (28) and connecting lines. All these components and the assembly base (26) are brought together in modular form to comprise a single construction group, ie. a compact cooling plant (16). Die Erfindung betrifft ein Schienentriebfahrzeug (10), insbesondere Lokomotive, mit einem Wagenkasten oder Rahmen (12) zur Aufnahme eines Antriebsmotors (14)und einer Leistungsübertragungseinrichtung, zum Beispiel ein Getriebe, und von Komponenten für die Kühlung von Fluiden, wie Kühlwasser, Getriebefluid und Fluid einer Klimaanlage, welche Komponenten wenigstens einen Kühler (32), Pumpen (28) und Verbindungsleitungen für das jeweilige Fluid umfassen und auf dem Fahrzeug (10) von einer Gehäuseabdeckung umgeben sind, wobei alle Komponenten (26, 28, 30, 32) für die Kühlung modulartig zusammengefaßt in Form einer Baugruppe als eine kompakte Kühlanordnung (16) gestaltet sind. <IMAGE>
