[origin: EP0571272A1] A lamp, especially a motor vehicle headlamp, comprises a casing defining, with a glass, an essentially closed internal space, and a light source placed in the internal space, and at least one device for ventilating the said internal space, provided in combination with the casing. The ventilation device comprises a first part (110) which projects out of the casing, which defines, in conjunction with a cover (plug, cap) (130) mounted on its free end, a first channel (C1) and a second channel (C3) which communicate with each other at an elbow situated in the region of the said free end, and a second part (120) projecting into the casing, which defines a third channel (C2), the second channel (C3) opening essentially downwards to the atmosphere, whereas the third channel (C2) opens upwards into the said internal space. <IMAGE>
