[origin: EP0762452A2] The rocker switch (10) has at least one contact point (28,30) contg. at least one fixed contact piece on a circuit board (36) and a movable contact piece acted upon by a restoring spring parallel to the circuit board. The contact point has an associated movable actuation plate (32,34) arranged perpendicular to the plane of the circuit board. The switch rocker (24) has a journal (16) formed on its side remote from the contact point. The journal interacts with an actuation element (46) which can be displaced parallel to the circuit board.
