[origin: DE4418942A1] Proposed are new stuffing agents for leathers and fur-skins, containing sulfitation products of unsaturated fatty acid low-alkyl esters as anionic surfactants. The agents lend leathers an improved suppleness and increased hydrophobicity and are characterized by less inclination to form fatty spew as well as an advantageous ecotoxicological tolerability.
