Abstract (en)
The tool has a round shank (12), on which is e.g. a conical end with a coating (14) consisting of abrasive grains, a bonding agent and filler material. The loading of the latter in the axial direction is uneven, and its external radius may be variable. The physical characteristics or the ingredient proportions of the coating may be varied to match the differing grinding loads. The concentration of the grains, or their size, can vary in the axial direction.

Schleifwerkzeug zum Schleifen von Profilen mit einem rotationssymmetrischen Grundkörper und einem auf dem Grundkörper aufgebrachten, aus einer Schleifkörnung, einem Bindemittel und ggf. Füllstoff und/oder verschleißbeeinflussendem Zusatz zusammengesetzten ringförmigen Schleifbelag, der in Achsrichtung ungleichmäßig belastet wird, z.B. dadurch, daß dessen äußerer Radius bzw. Erstreckung in Zustellrichtung senkrecht zur Achse des Grundkörpers unterschiedlich ist, wobei die physikalischen Eigenschaften und/oder die Volumenanteile der Belagbestandteile in axialer Richtung differentiell unterschiedlich sind derart, daß sie an die in axialer Richtung unterschiedliche Schleifbelastung angepaßt sind. <IMAGE>
