Abstract (en)
The spreaded structure for e.g. a 4-pair cable comprises two L-section folded metal cores (15) in contact along their apices, forming a conducting X-section over which are extruded polyethylene fins (16) Opt., the metal cores are omitted and the fins are of semi-conducting or carbon-loaded polymeric material. Twisted pairs (1,2,3,4), each comprising two insulated (6) cores (7) are laid up between (14) the fins and the screening is completed by foil or metallised tape wrapping (13) in contact with the fin edges. A protective sheath (5) is then extruded over all.

Le câble multipaires présente une section circulaire et comporte plusieurs paires de conducteurs isolés individuellement et un blindage autour de chaque paire. Il est caractérisé en ce que les blindages des paires (1-4) sont constitués par un jonc central (10), à ailettes radiales (11), de blindage partiel de chacune des paires et un écran périphérique (13) entourant le jonc et les paires en place entre les ailettes et complétant le blindage de chacune des paires. Application : câble de réseau informatique. <IMAGE>
