[origin: EP0763840A2] The switch has a fixed contact arrangement (12) in its own housing (11) and a movable contact arrangement (13) with a first drive in a housing connected to the movable contact arrangement, or which can be brought into contact with it by switch operation. During or after the end of the switch-off operation, the fixed contact arrangement is separated from the fixed contact housing and the contact housing is separated from the contact arrangement, so that an insulating nozzle (15) is released from its guide and thereby an insulating section between the fixed contact housing (11) and the contact housing (21) is achieved to realise an isolation function.
