Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0764534A2] A continuous ink jet printing system includes a resonator having an internal fluid cavity. An initial aperture is drilled through the internal fluid cavity. A wire electrical discharge machining process is then applied to the surface of the internal fluid cavity to achieve a desired aperture dimension. The final aperture can be honed to improve surface finish. <IMAGE>
