[origin: EP0764593A1] The valve consists of a control rod (2) with an inner passage (12), able to move inside a valve body between open and closed positions. It has at least one intake (24) for the propellant gas which leads into the valve body to provide a mixture of the product and gas. The control rod and the area of the valve body adjacent to the intake have surfaces (28, 29) pressed together when the control rod is in the closed position, shutting off the intake. At least one of the surfaces is inclined relative to the direction of the control rod's travel inside the body of the valve, and are e.g. conical in shape. The interacting surfaces can lie coaxially with or eccentrically in relation to the axis of the control rod.
