[origin: EP0765622A1] The seat surface (2) is converted into the first recliner surface. The backrest (10) is swivelled to form the second recliner surface parallel with the first surface. The backrest has one or more side pull-out elements (11,12) on each side of the backrest and movable on the plane of the backrest and acting as an extension to the recliner surface. The outsides of the pull-out elements have a panel (13,14). Two elongated holes (15) parallel with the pull-out direction, in the edges of the pull-out elements have a locking bolt (16) fixed to the side of the backrest fitting into them. The backrest has a cavity (18) containing the pull-out elements.
