Abstract (en)

Preparation of the metal surface of an object, notably a steel sheet, for subsequent direct enamelling, comprises: (a) a preliminary pickling or degreasing operation; (b) amorphous phosphating to form a layer of at least 0.2 g/m<2> on the metal surface; and (c) nickel-plating. In a complete sequence for the fabrication of an object formed from an enamelled steel sheet it is possible to form the object after the pickling stage, notable after the phosphating stage and before the final nickel-plating stage.

Procédé dans lequel on décape puis on traite ladite surface en deux étapes, une première étape de traitement de phosphatation dite "amorphe" adaptée pour déposer une couche d'au moins 0,2 g/m<2> puis un seconde étape de traitement dit de "nickelage". On peut alors limiter la quantité de boues au décapage tout en obtenant une bonne adhérence de l'émail. Dans une séquence complète de fabrication d'un objet formé en tôle métallique émaillée en mode direct, on peut effectuer la mise en forme de la tôle après le décapage, notamment après la première étape dite de phosphatation et avant la deuxième étape dite de nickelage.
