Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0765961A1] The two-part jet assembly to move continuous textile strand material to a vessel with a treatment bath, or between treatment baths, has the leading section as the first part (3) with a section (7) of decreasing cross-section, while the trailing section (8) of the first part (3) has a constant cross-section. The shrouding section (9) of the second part (4), round the trailing section (8) of the first part (3), ends at or behind it, with its smallest cross-section larger than the trailing section (8) of the first part (3) and especially 1.3-3.0 times larger. The final section (11) of the second part (3) is formed as a diffusor. Also claimed is an assembly with a vessel, which can be closed, for each textile strand, and a store to hold the material in loops. The jet unit moves the material to keep it recirculating through the bath. The treatment bath has a liquid feed, and a fluid recirculation system.
