Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0766047A2] The cooking hob has a ceramic glass hob surface (1) incorporating a number of cooking fields, at least one of which has dual heating circuits. The second heating circuit of the latter cooking field is operated by a manual push- button switch, with the push-button head (3) recessed in the frame (2) enclosing the hob surface. Pref. the push-button head is provided as a rectangular plate which lies flush with the surrounding surface of the hob frame in the rest position and incorporates a display light indicating the switch condition of the second heating circuit.
