[origin: WO9635008A1] The invention relates to a process for monitoring a flowing suspension of powdered cellulose in a liquid, aqueous tertiary amine oxide and features the combination of steps: (A) the suspension is inserted into a container with an inlet aperture for the suspension; (B) the suspension in the container is conveyed through it; and (C) the suspension conveyed through the container is extracted therefrom via an outlet aperture; in which (D) the container is weighed and the intake or extraction of the suspension is controlled in accordance with the differences from a predetermined reference value.
