Abstract (en)
The hair grip consists of two hinged branches (1,2) which are joined together at one end by a hinge (11,12). At the other end, there is an opening clip which allows the branches to separate or be fixed together. Each branch has a series of curved teeth (17,18). When the branches are closed together the teeth on one branch pass between those on the other and hold a lock of hair between them. The curved teeth are attached to each of the branches at a tangent. Each tooth's curve covers an angle of between 45 and 90 deg., pref. 60 deg. The middle teeth are longer than the end ones. Alternatively, the hinge of the hair grip can be spring-loaded so that the two branches are automatically pressed together.

La barrette selon l'invention comprend deux branches allongées (1, 2), articulées l'une à l'autre à leurs premières extrémités (11, 12) selon un axe d'articulation transversal (I), avec des moyens de retenue pour retenir sélectivement l'une vers l'autre de façon séparable leurs secondes extrémités (13). Chacune des branches (1, 2) comporte des dents incurvées (17, 18), se développant latéralement à partir du premier bord latéral (7, 8) et s'incurvant vers l'autre branche en s'imbriquant avec les dents incurvées de ladite autre branche. On augmente ainsi le maintien des cheveux dans la barrette. <IMAGE>
