Abstract (en)

The paper has a coating of mineral pigment, a starch deriv. and usual additives applied by cast coating with an aq. compsn. The pigment comprises 40-100 wt.% coarse ground CaCO3 and 0-60 wt.% talc; and the binder comprises (a) 6-15 wt.% starch ether (I) or (b) 6-15 wt.% (I), 0.5-2 wt.% PVA and/or 0.5-2 wt.% CMC w.r.t. the pigment. Pref. (I) is a hydroxypropyl starch ether (IA), esp. with a deg. of substitution < 0.2, more esp. 0.04-0.12. The coating also contains 0.5-3.5 wt.% (w.r.t. dry pigment) of crosslinking agent(s) selected from polyamine epichlorohydrin resin, polyamide epichlorohydrin resin, epoxide resin and polyisocyanate resin, pref. an aliphatic epoxide resin and/or an epoxide resin based on bisphenol A and F and epichlorohydrin.

Abstract (de)

Bei einem Papier mit einer im Gußstreichverfahren aufgebrachten Beschichtung besteht das Pigment der Beschichtung zu 70 bis 100 Gew.% aus: gemahlenem Calciumcarbonat, gefälltem Calciumcarbonat, Talkum oder einer Mischung dieser Pigmente und das Bindemittel der Beschichtung besteht, bezogen auf 100 Gew.-Teile Pigment, aus 6 bis 25 Gew.-Teilen Stärkeether.
