[origin: EP0767278A1] Each drainage channel (12) has an upper and a lower part (14,16) separated by a horizontal, partially permeable, intermediate wall (15). The upper part has an intake section (18), open to the top, and a water course (28) to collect and transport incoming water, and is connected in the vicinity of a side-facing of a cistern (51) or a sink box (40). The lower channel part has a hollow chamber (20), open at the bottom. A soakaway (36) for surface water is located under the lower part. Upper and lower channel parts are connected via passages (30,32) for the water collected by the upper part. The upper openings of the passages are located in an area above the water course.
