[origin: EP0767403A2] Thermographic material comprises a base; (a) binder layer(s) with a thermographic combination of an organic Ag salt (I) and an organic reducing agent (II) for (I); and (b) binder layer(s) contg. a thermographic combination of an acid-sensitive leuco dye (III) and an acidic cpd. (IV) acting as developer for (III), in which (III) and (IV) are in separate layers or are sepd. from one another in the same layer. The material comprises: (c) a layer of water- or alcohol-soluble polymer (V) between (a) and (b). Also claimed is a method of producing the material.
