Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0739704A1] An object is made by stereography by exposing a liquid or powdered material (3) in a bath to electromagnetic radiation. The object is positioned by a carrier (4) w.r.t. the surface (2) of the bath where a layer of the material (3) is solidified by the irradiation arrangement (8). A wiper (15) is moved along the surface (2) by a drive (26). The wiper has two surface regions (16,17) in the direction of motion (30) which have different surface tension values.
