Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0768177A1] The mechanism secures a printing plate (13) with bent-over edges (14,16) to the cylinder (1), having an axial lug (3) pivoting on a first axis (20). Two surfaces (22,24) on the lug work against supporting surfaces (23,26) on the cylinder. A mechanism (29) exerts torque on the lug, and a bearing (28) brings the faces (24,26) into contact. The lug also pivots outwards on a second axis formed by these faces, pressing the faces (22,23) against each other. The lug can be fixed to a clamping spindle (19) working in a mass of hardening material.
