[origin: DE19537277C1] The terry cloth loom with adjustable pile height has an eccentric (16) connected to the main drive (15) which actuates a spring loaded double lever (20) to give a relative displacement between the reed (18) and the beat-up. The base pile height is altered by an adjuster (23) interposed with links (25, 25a) between the double lever (20) and the take-up motion (9). Also claimed is an adjuster (23) with a toothed segment which is driven by a separate servo-motor to actuate a mechanism to alter the relative positions of the attachment points of the links (25, 25a).
