[origin: EP0768418A1] An embroidery machine, esp. a Schiffli machine, has a cutter and clamp for each needle thread. A blade (17) is rigidly attached to each fabric presser and works with a movable blade (21) and a yarn clamp (27). The blade (21) is constructed as a yarn catcher. There is a further yarn catcher (25) at some distance from the blade (21) and a clamp (27) is fitted between the blade (21) and the further yarn catcher (25).
