Abstract (en)
The process ignites a gas-air mixture in a blast furnace (1), and has a gas supply which is applied to an airstream after a pre-ventilation phase, and after a subsequent reduction of the normal operating air pressure through a control valve (2). The rising pressure during the pre-ventilation phase causes a delayed lowering of the reduced normal operating air pressure of the furnace. During the lowering phase a quantity of gas is supplied to the air, which is larger than normal. A device to perform this process, and in which an aperture (7) is arranged in a control pressure pipe (6) from the air supply pipe (3) to the control valve, is also discussed.

Um an einem Gasgebläsebrenner (1) Zündsicherheit zu erreichen, dessen Gaszufuhreinrichtung aus einer zum Gasgebläsebrenner (1) führenden, gebläsebestückten Luftzuleitung (3) besteht, an die die mit einer Vollastdrossel (4) und dieser vorgeschaltetem Regelventil (2) versehene Gaszuleitung (5) einmündend angeschlossen ist, wobei die Luftseite des Regelventils (2) über eine Steuerdruckleitung (6) mit der Luftzuleitung (3) in Verbindung steht, ist in der Steuerdruckleitung (6) eine Blende (7) angeordnet, mit der bewirkt wird, daß der am Regelventil (2) während der Vorbelüftungsphase aufgebaute Luftdruck zeitverzögert auf den reduzierten normalen Betriebsluftdruck des Gasgebläsebrenners (1) abgesenkt und während dieser Absenkphase eine in bezug auf die bei Normalbetrieb zuströmende Gasmenge größere Gasmenge der Luft zugefördert wird. <IMAGE>
