Abstract (en)
The dielectric resonator has at least one dielectric insert (2) in its resonator housing. The insert(s) is(are) designed, or in the case of a multiple part insert, the parts are arranged wrt. each other, so to form at least two radial slots (3) which are symmetrically arranged wrt. each other. A dielectric insert can consist of at least one one-piece, plate-shaped structure, whereby the slots extend from the casing of the plate towards the centre of the plate. The plate-shaped structure can have an annular outer boundary.

Bei einem dielektrischen Resonator ist der dielektrische Einsatz (2) so ausgebildet, daß mindestens zwei jeweils gegenüberliegende sich in Richtung Zentrum hin radial erstreckende und zueinander symmetrische Schlitze (3) entstehen. Durch die radialen Schlitze (3) läßt sich ein dielektrischer Resonator mit hohem Modenabstand bei hoher Güte erreichen. <IMAGE>
