[origin: EP0768727A1] The electrical terminal block (B) comprises at least one connection block (1,2) inside which several parallel bars are fixed. The block (1,2) comprises on its rear face, a removable connection system (1b,2b) for attachment to a rail (12). On the front of each block there are connections for cables leading to each outlet device. The parallel bars within the blocks correspond to each phase of the supply. Each connection block includes at least two displaced connection regions (4,5,6) which lie in different vertical planes. The upper and lower regions stand back by comparison with the forward standing central region. The upper and lower regions are used for connection to large diameter cables, whilst the central region is used for connection to smaller diameter cables.
